Fringe in the Fen

November 15, 2010 - Posted by: Anna

fringeinthefen

We’ve just finished a promotional website for Fringe in the Fen; an eclectic festival of the arts set in the beautiful Fenstanton/Cambridgeshire this forthcoming summer. (Yes, the sun will rise again.)

Not only is this the festival to go if you like good music, for as all profits will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, you’ll be doing a good deed. For us, this website was a pro bono project that we didn’t want to say no to. How could we?

If you check out the website at www.fringeinthefen.co.uk, you can see that the list of artists, genres and events is a long one. There seem to be something for just about everyone! Amongst others, even our good old friend Kate Symmonds-Joy – who we completed a website for (and who in return wrote and recorded a song for us!) – is performing. Safe to say, this is not an event to be missed.

The box office opens January 2011 with full details and online booking available on this festival website.

Altitude launches

May 11, 2010 - Posted by: Anna

Altitude screengrab

Our new “one pager” website has now gone live for our client Altitude, a live events and marketing company.

The website allows all content to be accessed on the home page. Making heavy use of  jQuery the site offers a modern and animated AJAX interface. To allow Altitude to update the site themselves we built it on top of Wordpress using the PODS CMS.

Combining events expertise, marketing experience, and new media knowledge, Altitude creates unique, interactive communication programmes for live marketing events.

We’ve just launched our new website for the original epitome of Shoreditch cool, Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen. With a hefty CMS system behind it allowing not only website updates from the Hoxton crew themselves, but also a user management system for promoters to be able to log in and manage their nights.

Utilising Flickr, Twitter, and Facebook Connect the site encourages the community at large to get involved!

See you there for a pint or two soon.

Top 10 “People to Watch”

September 1, 2008 - Posted by: Jonathan

rosswilliamsSerial overachiever and all round nice guy Ross Williams heads up the uber-successful whitelabeldating.com, a multi-million pound business that provides dating software, payment processing and consultancy for some of the world’s most successful consumer media brands.

Ross approached Catch with a view to us branding him online. He’s a busy guy and wanted his own blog to share his experiences with those who’ll listen.

With a love of life in the fast-lane, sports cars and technology the site needed to be slick, remotely updateable and reflect who he was as a person, letting people know where he’s been as well as where he is heading (not to mention showing off the multitude of awards and accolades he has picked up along the way).

Using a mash-up of deep-linked Flash, Twitter, Wordpress and our own custom CMS modules this is one trick site, enabling Ross to update it via his phone from anywhere in the
world.

See it in action here www.rosswilliams.co.uk.
