Rankin leads photo judging

May 14, 2009 - Posted by: Matt

Rankin

The entry deadline for the Campaign Photo Awards is drawing close. Judges for this award not only include the photographer Rankin but top agency names from the likes of Fallon, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Beattie McGuinness Bungay, Saatchi & Saatchi, Wieden + Kennedy, Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy, TBWA and OgilvyOne.

The awards will the presented at a special dinner hosted by Campaign in September, with the work of all finalists and winners shown in a three day gallery exhibition. So if you’ve got a great shot that was taken in response to an advertising brief then this would be some great publicity.

To find out more and to enter visit www.campaignphotoawards.com.

Here at Catch we are looking forward to likes of Rankin using our bespoke online judging system we developed specially for the Haymarket Media Group. Catch designs, manages and hosts 19 awards websites for Haymarket. For the four most prestigious of these (Campaign BIG Awards, Media Week, Campaign Photo and PRWeek) we also provide a bespoke entry platform facilitating registration, entry upload, online judging and payment.

Campaign Photo Awards

March 26, 2009 - Posted by: Owen

Campaign Photo logoCampaign is the eyes, ears and voice of advertising in the UK, (tasuznhxf8) and has earned huge respect at home and around the world as a champion of creativity, in all its forms, as it is used to make advertising harder hitting, more emotive…evocative, effective.

So you can imagine how excited the budding (albeit it amateur) photographers in the studio were when Campaign asked to use our entry platform to power the inaugural Campaign Photo Awards. Catch already designs, manages and hosts 19 awards websites for Haymarket Media Group. For the four most prestigious of these (Campaign BIG Awards, Media Week, and Campaign Photo and PRWeek) we also provide a bespoke entry platform facilitating registration, entry upload, online judging and payment.

To make life as simple as possible, initial entry is online from March 26, 2009. In this inaugural year, the time limit on use of an image is set at no earlier than November 1, 2007 and no later than April 30, 2009.

So whether you work professionally in Paddington, Sydney or Paddington, London; Athens, Georgia or Athens, Greece your work will be judged by an independent, impartial, experienced team of judges. You can enter here www.campaignphotoawards.com.

2009 Revolution Awards

January 6, 2009 - Posted by: Owen

The Revolution Awards have long been the definitive benchmark of digital marketing innovation and effectiveness in the UK, and this year they have been given a makeover, and a change of focus.

After more than a decade rewarding best-in-breed digital marketing and business initiatives Revolution have decided to add a focus on innovation. Gareth Jones, editor of the magazine says:

As anyone in digital knows, what is cutting edge today will be passé tomorrow. With this in mind we recognise that those who consistently push the boundaries of marketing, those who venture into uncharted territory and those that do things that genuinely have never been done before are those that will succeed in the fragmenting media world.

Catch designs and develops a range of Haymarket Media Group websites and entry processes, and this one is no exception. The deadline for entries is Friday of next week, so begin your entry process here www.revolutionawards.com, good luck!
