Scope’s new brand launch

January 30, 2012 - Posted by: Anna

Scope screengrab

Today sees the launch of Scope’s new identity, supported by revamped website and the fantastic “Scope gallery”.

Via this gallery Scope are asking disabled people, their friends and families to tell them, by way of a simple picture and words, what they would like the future to look like. The pictures and stories submitted to the gallery will become their living brand. It’s a great way for disabled people and their families to voice their views, opinions and hopes for the future.

We had launched a BETA version of the gallery back in September in 2011 which has enabled Scope to crowd source their new brand thus far. Opening up the website to the broader public now, and for the first time, we’ve enabled social sharing options, commenting and “hearting” options, and also set up a custom mobile template – making the user experience even more interactive and engaging.

We have designed and developed both sites in Drupal adhering to W3C AA standards, alongside creating supporting Facebook content and updating their Twitter and Youtube channels.

But this is easily handled by the Drupal platform, enabling the LSN editorial team complete control over the content and community online.

Read a little more on our involvement here, and visit the website itself at www.legalsupportnetwork.co.uk

September 16, 2011 - Posted by: Jon Hume

myCaterheam

Today we have great pleasure in announcing both a new client and brand new site launch. The new social portal My Caterham, built on behalf of Caterham Cars. We begin our new relationship at arguably the most exciting time in the history of the organisation, following their recent acquisition by Team Lotus Forumla One.

My Caterham is a social portal aggregating live feeds from the Caterham Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube accounts to help fans keep up to date with everything that Caterham get up to. It doesn’t stop there though, as the site also includes areas where users are invited to get involved and contribute.

It has had an excellent response from users so far and we look forward to the ongoing development of the portal as it becomes the definitive place on the web for all fans of Caterham Cars.

iQ website launch

May 17, 2011 - Posted by: Katharina

iq-drupal-launch-blog

Have a look at our spectacular new website for iQ Student Accommodation. In the week after launch iQ had their highest number of bookings ever.

We’re all happy, as is Sophie Jackson, Marketing Manager at iQ:

Catch have been a fantastic team to work with during the relaunch of our website. From initial project scoping through design and development stages through to going live, Catch have listened to our needs and quickly provided solutions to any problems we have encountered. The extension of the Drupal CMS system we now have is excellent. The training provided was thorough and the system is very easy to use which means we have full control of our website, which is very cost effective and easy to manage.

Fringe in the Fen

November 15, 2010 - Posted by: Anna

fringeinthefen

We’ve just finished a promotional website for Fringe in the Fen; an eclectic festival of the arts set in the beautiful Fenstanton/Cambridgeshire this forthcoming summer. (Yes, the sun will rise again.)

Not only is this the festival to go if you like good music, for as all profits will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, you’ll be doing a good deed. For us, this website was a pro bono project that we didn’t want to say no to. How could we?

If you check out the website at www.fringeinthefen.co.uk, you can see that the list of artists, genres and events is a long one. There seem to be something for just about everyone! Amongst others, even our good old friend Kate Symmonds-Joy – who we completed a website for (and who in return wrote and recorded a song for us!) – is performing. Safe to say, this is not an event to be missed.

The box office opens January 2011 with full details and online booking available on this festival website.

The Christmas No.1?

November 8, 2010 - Posted by: Pete

kate-header2We’ve just completed a website for uber-talented mezzo soprano Kate Symonds Joy. Educated at Cambridge University, where she graduated with a First Class Music degree, she is now studying at the Royal Academy.

Recent projects include Handel’s Messiah with Bordeaux Opera, the title role in Bizet’s Carmen for Kentish Opera, Ino in Handel’s Semele for RAO with Sir Charles Mackerras….. the list goes on.

How best to thank us for all our hard work on her site? Write us a song of course.

Strumming a ukulele may not be what she is best known for, but we love that Catch now has an official song! Check out her talent here:

Check out her website, and hear what she is really known for (that voice!) at www.katesymonds-joy.com

Amazing Spectacles

November 6, 2010 - Posted by: Jonathan

Amazing Specs headerAmazing Spectacles make something magical appear from absolutely nothing (as they say: “a bit like Siegfried and Roy really, only without the fake tans and penchant for white tigers”), and we’ve just made their new website magically appear from our studio at www.amazingspectacles.com

They may be a brand new offering, but the team behind this animation studio are anything but rookies. Between them, their directors have worked on everything from the music video of Moby’s “Why does my heart feel so bad” to the official London 2012 Olympic bid.

Backed by one of the largest Visual Entertainment Services Groups in the world, Prime Focus we’re certain that Amazing Spectacles will continue to produce great things for many years to come.

Whoop whoop!

Our new “one pager” website has now gone live for our client Altitude, a live events and marketing company.

The website allows all content to be accessed on the home page. Making heavy use of  jQuery the site offers a modern and animated AJAX interface. To allow Altitude to update the site themselves we built it on top of Wordpress using the PODS CMS.

Combining events expertise, marketing experience, and new media knowledge, Altitude creates unique, interactive communication programmes for live marketing events.

Why Wates?

December 3, 2009 - Posted by: Jonathan

Wates website montage

Wates is one of the UK’s largest private construction companies. With revenues of £1bn+ the company is going from strength to strength.

In 2009 Wates Group was named Major Contractor of the Year by Building magazine, alongside Sustainability Contractor of the Year, Sustainability Champion of the Year and Paul Drechsler was named Chief Executive of the Year.

Now to go alongside their awards, they have a dynamic new web presence. Built using Drupal we’ve, just launched their main Group website www.wates.co.uk after months in our development pipeline.

Working with our partner Ferrier Pearce’s design, the site is built to emphasise Wates’ industry leading activities through the use of video, project stories, slideshows and authored thought leadership pieces. There is a huge variety of content stored within the CMS system we developed, all editable by Wates themselves and accessible to you the user via our unique “live search” feature.

Commenting on the new site, Wates Head of Communications, Belinda Murray said of the Catch and Ferrier Pearce team: “I just wanted to let them know how much we appreciated their marvellous help, support, enthusiasm, whip cracking and spectacular creativity in producing our beautiful new website. It was a huge task and they were great partners to work with.”
