Ready, steady, go! Catch launches updated My Caterham platform …

March 15, 2012 - Posted by: Jon Hume

Catch launches new My Caterham site for 2012

Exciting times here at Catch as we launch version 2.0 of the Caterham Cars social sharing platform – “My Caterham”.

The new site now includes social feeds from the Caterham F1 Team, as well as our good friends at Caterham Motorsport, providing access to the racing teams across the group. Timed to coincide with the launch of the new F1 season (on Friday 16th March 2012), the platform provides feeds from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and the various Caterham news portals, making it the only place on the web to find the inside track direct from Caterham.

James Drake, Marketing Manager at Caterham Cars said “Working with Catch on such a new and exciting project has been an extremely dynamic and enjoyable process. From the initial stages of mapping out the project through to the building and implementing phases, the creativity, technical know-how and support has been second to none. The results are absolutely fantastic and I love everything about My Caterham, but that’s not to say we are going to stand still – we have numerous exciting developments and evolutions that we are already working on with Catch!”

Check out the new My Caterham here.

5 Star review for Scope website

March 14, 2012 - Posted by: Kirsty

Web User review

We recently received a 5 star rating in the February 2012 issue of  Web User magazine for our work on the re-brand launch of the pan-disability charity Scope.

Having designed and built the Scope Gallery which collected icons and stories which eventually became the new Scope brand, we then redesigned and built Scope.org.uk.

The website was a great success for both Catch and Scope and was also accredited by the Shaw Trust in Wales where it was noted as an outstanding example of a website that has great functionality and accessibility.

To read more about our involvement in the project, read our case study or visit Scope.org.uk

Big pat on the back for the team at Catch, keep up the good work.

Introducing another new team member

February 20, 2012 - Posted by: Kirsty

Hello there,

I’m Kirsty and I am the newest Catch Digital recruit and will be working within the client services team as a Production Executive.

I graduated in 2009 with a 1st in BA Marketing and also did a placement at Microsoft within the Windows Mobile Communications Group. After globetrotting for a couple of years, I decided I should probably face reality and pursue a career which was challenging, interesting and evolving, and Catch was just the place.

While I like to be involved in creative marketing, I am also a closet nerd and this quality is highly valued at Catch. With a background in Social Media Reputation, Web development and Marketing, I am very much looking forward to working with some interesting and varied clients.

So here are a few little things about me:

Biggest Professional Achievement: Helped rebuild a previous employer’s company reputation via social media & PR.

Biggest Personal Achievement: Doing the world’s 2nd highest bungee jump (due to peer pressure).

Things I like: Snowboarding, rats, street art, hummus and boxing.

Things I Dislike: Mannequins, early mornings and rain.

Finally, I feel very privileged to be working with an exceptionally talented and dynamic team (they didn’t pay me to say that).

Scope’s new brand launch

January 30, 2012 - Posted by: Anna

Scope screengrab

Today sees the launch of Scope’s new identity, supported by a redesigned website and the fantastic “Scope gallery”. We have designed and developed both the main website and the Gallery in Drupal adhering to W3C AA standards, alongside creating supporting Facebook content and updating their Twitter and Youtube channels.

Via this gallery Scope are asking disabled people, their friends and families to tell them, by way of a simple picture and words, what they would like the future to look like. The pictures and stories submitted to the gallery will become their living brand. It’s a great way for disabled people and their families to voice their views, opinions and hopes for the future.

We had launched a BETA version of the gallery back in September in 2011 which has enabled Scope to crowd source their new brand thus far. Opening up the website to the broader public now, and for the first time, we’ve enabled social sharing options, commenting and “hearting” options, and also set up a custom mobile template – making the user experience even more interactive and engaging.

To read more about the project in Scope’s own words visit their website or see our own overview here.

Legal Support Network launch

January 19, 2012 - Posted by: Catch

Legal Support Network screenshotAfter a year in production, we’ve just put live an online community for Legal Support Network. With tens of thousands of pages of content, it’s somewhat of a monster. But this is easily handled by the Drupal platform, enabling the LSN editorial team complete control over the content and community online.

Internships at Catch

November 15, 2011 - Posted by: Catch

JoshHi i’m Josh, and i’ve been a Production Intern at Catch for a couple of months now. I’d just like to share some of my experiences with you.

I think the best part of being an Intern is that you’re given meaningful jobs to do, as well as shadowing key people in the department. You’re not just making tea all day long, but you’re given work that is exciting. You are treated as one of the team, and as such get to learn a helluvalot!

I’ve been able to work with some big organisations, such as Scope, Christian Aid, Nespresso and Caterham Cars, so being an Intern at Catch has given me good experience in working with clients.

It’s been a great learning process for me, and as my Internship continues I look forward to learning even more!
